Week #5 Predictions

So the team has assembled and come up with the following picks and rationale:

USC will cover against Cal

Current spread of 4.5. We think that USC's defense will be its usual stifling self. The offense won't put up more than thirty, but I'm comfortable going with a great defense on the road, and suspect the winning margin will be greater than a fieldgoal.

Washington state will cover against Oregon.

Oregon hasn't put up huge points against anyone and their QB is prone to terrible games. Washington State isn't good but their D looks adequate and they haven't been blown out by anyone. The spread is 35.5 and I think that is too big.

Stanford will cover against UCLA.

Stanford is big, physical, etc. Our scout was at the game last week and liked what he saw. We don't think UCLA is very legit and suspect the Trees will cover the spread. Spread is 5.5 points.

Here's to making it to .500 or better!
